Justin Bieber Fights with Boyhood BFF Chaz Somers — Was It over Selena Gomez?

Justin Bieber's young life is certainly filled with high drama these days. Last year there was the Mariah Yeater scandal. In 2012, JB has fought with his boyhood BFF, Chaz Somers, and cancelled their friendship. They reportedly fought over Selena Gomez.

Rumor has it that Justin Bieber's current feud with his boyhood friend, Chaz Somers, began when Chaz, rather stupidly, told Justin that his girlfriend, Selena Gomez, was dating him only to garner more publicity for herself and to further her own career. Of course, many people share this opinion—including, no doubt, some of Justin's close friends and even relatives. However, unlike Chaz Somers, those people had enough sense not to say it to Biebs' face. He did not take it well. The two fought bitterly, and now they are no longer friends. The drama would have remained a private matter had JB not sent Chaz a Tweet on January 5 to inform him that "he doesn't consider Chaz his real friend." Now their feud is public property.

Justin Tweeted:

"#realfriends @itsRyanButler and @officialjaden" 

Chaz Responded:

"@justinbieber i thought what we had was real?" 

But then he quickly deleted it.

So there you have it. And with it you still have unanswered questions. What on earth made Chaz Somers say such a thing about Selena Gomez? Surely he should have known his friend, er, ex-friend would find it offensive. Or was it ever really about Selena Gomez at all? It has been suggested on JB fan sites that perhaps Chaz was angry because Justin Bieber bought his other (true) boyhood BFF a new car for Christmas but only gave Chaz a lousy iPhone. Ouch. When in need of a scapegoat, blame it on the girlfriend.

Pehaps the most intriguing question of all is: What, if anything, does the Justin Bieber-Chaz Somers feud have to do with Justin and Selena's sudden, unannounced, surreptitious trip to Mexico, where they were photographed on January 6—the day after JB's fight and break with Chaz?

Justin Bieber Would Never Have Sex 'with a Strange Girl' Like Mariah Yeater

Justin Bieber has a lot of support from many people who believe he would never have had a one night stand with Mariah Yeater, as she so adamantly claims. The latest to speak out is Justin's "other parents," a quiet Canadian couple who stepped in to help raise Justin when he was just a little boy and his mother was unable to cope with parenting.


Martin and Sharon Butler, a British born Canadian couple with children of their own, say that they raised Justin Bieber to have better values, to respect women and to know right from wrong. They believe 100% that The Biebs never met Mariah Yeater and did not father her child.


 Martin Butler said to the Daily Mail.

"We all knew that something like this would be coming sooner or later – that some woman would see dollar signs and try to shake him down. We gave Justin the boundaries he might not otherwise have had. We taught him to respect women and he has been coached by his handlers on the importance of being careful and resolute. There is no way that what this woman claims ever happened,"

In addition, Ryan Butler, Justin's closest friend since childhood, said that Justin would know better and people are "stupid" for believing the story.

"He would never screw up his life by having sex with some strange girl in a bathroom. It's not him. Every kid in Stratford knows about birth control and we were brought up not to have sex randomly. Sex is something that waits until you are the right age and you are sure it is the right thing to do,"

Butler said:

"Justin, in particular, knows that 17 is too young to have the responsibility of supporting a family. He knows what happened to his own mother after she got pregnant with him and he knows how she struggled and he would never repeat her mistakes."

Hopefully, the Butler family is right about this one. The world would hate to see Justin Bieber throw away his career—and his massive fortune—for 30 seconds of fun in a bathroom with a fan.


Mariah Yeater is obviously lying that Justin Bieber is her baby's father. That can be determined just by the fact that she accused others of being the father first before publicly claiming it was Justin Bieber.


While Justin has agreed to take a paternity test, it's sad that he has to go through this just to prove that Mariah Yeater is a gold-digger with mental problems. Hopefully he sues her at the end of it all just to teach her a lesson!
