Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have spent so much time together recently, and on their most recent excursion they took in a relaxing day at Balboa Park in San Diego, enjoying the great outdoors together!

Justin, 17, and Selena, 19, were spotted by eagle-eyed fan Federico Gaytan on Jan. 13, who tweeted about the encounter.

“He was with selena and his dog. Taking pictures of ducks” he wrote, adding, “I saw jb putting his hand on selenas neck.”

Justin Bieber Knows People Hate The Idea Of Him

Justin Bieber is a good example of why speaking in absolutes is often a bad thing. For a long time, I lumped him in with other teenage pop stars and mistakenly assumed he was a prepackaged commodity, but as I’ve read more and more interviews and listened to more and more music, it’s become increasingly obvious that he’s a good dude just trying to carve out life on his own terms. That he happens to have a great voice and boyish good looks are attributes that serve him well in the music industry but are not the characteristics that define him. If you don’t believe me, check out this awesome quote he offered up in an interview withV Magazine. 

"A lot of people say they hate Justin Bieber who haven't even listened to my music. They just hate the idea of me."

You could interpret those words as a little bitter and hostile, but it’s hard to do so when they’re so fitting for the predicament he’s in. A lot of people are bothered by the fact that the Biebs is so wholesome. To be perfectly honest, it sort of rubs me the wrong way too, but not everyone who lives on the straight and narrow has a holier than thou attitude. Justin’s never really put down the choices of others. He’s just continued to do his thing, which if he has his way, will propel him to even greater heights. 

"I want to be better than anybody who's ever done it. And in order to do that, I need to strive to be the best, be good to people and treat people with respect, and work as hard as I can. Because for me, I work so hard and this consumes my life.”

Life is too short not to work as hard as possible at what you care about. For Justin, that’s not only music but doing nice things for the people around him. He recently bought his childhood friend a car and took his girlfriend Selena Gomez on the coolest date ever. I doubt he’ll someday be considered the greatest pop star in the world, but a pretty damn good musician isn’t such a bad fate. 

Did Justin Bieber really compare himself to Floyd Mayweather?

It's true: Pop star Justin Bieber thinks he and Floyd Mayweather are in similar predicaments.

Once you take away the jail time and other run-ins with the law, and the fact boxer Floyd Mayweather loves to bet hundreds of thousands of dollars on sporting events (he tweeted a photo of his most recent winnings, close to $350,000 on the Alabama-LSU football game), Justin says he and Mayweather are a lot a like.

In a recent interview with V Magazine, Justin says:

"Now that I'm on top everyone wants to bring me down. Everyone's trying to tug at me and take my spot. Like Floyd Mayweather, he's the best boxer in the world. Now he is a champion. Every time he goes to a fight now, people are like, 'He's going to lose this time.'"

JB also admires Mayweather's work ethic and training:

"Like I said before, Floyd Mayweather trains every day, even when it’s off-season. When everyone else just chills and doesn’t work out because they are not fighting. He’s in there punching the bags because he wants to be the best. He wants to be better than Muhammad Ali, and that’s what he’s striving to be. He’s going to go and fight even when he doesn’t have to."

Justin says he needs to be more like Mayweather in that respect:

"When I have time off I need to, at this point—I’m going to be honest: I’m young and I’m not as disciplined as I need to be in order to be the best. If I have a day off, I need to be at the dance studio, [but instead] I’m hanging out with my friends because I’m young. But when I’m in my 20s and I’m starting to really want to be the best, I need to buckle down and work as hard as these other people."

Justin is also asked: 

So no matter what Mayweather does, no matter how many people he beats, or how long he stays a champ, or if he retires or is defeated, do you think that people can ever really compare or ever say Mayweather was better than Muhammad Ali?"

He says:

"It’s different. First of all, Ali was in a different weight class, so it’s completely different. But I think it’s about making himself just as big. I mean, Michael Jackson looked up to James Brown. James Brown was an icon. And I would consider Michael Jackson bigger than James Brown. If Mayweather goes another three, four fights, and wins? Muhammad Ali lost. Mayweather has never lost in his whole career. He is like 35 years old. He hasn’t lost and people don’t give him that respect."

So, now we know who the Justin will be rooting for if the May 5 fight with Manny Pacquiao takes place. In fact, Justin retweeted Mayweather calling out Pac Man:

"Manny Pacquiao I'm calling you out let's fight May 5th and give the world what they want to see."

Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez’s Romantic Date At P.F. Chang’s

Justin Bieber was quite the gentleman when he took Selena Gomez to lunch in Sherman Oaks, Calif. Jan. 10.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are relishing in each other’s presence and even took time out of their busy afternoons to go to a romantic lunch at P.F. Chang’s in Sherman Oaks, Calif. Jan. 10.

“Justin and Selena came here for lunch earlier today,” a source at the popular Chinese chain told us. “They were both really sweet and down to earth. They walked in holding hands and left holding hands.”

The eyewitness said Justin, 17, and Selena, 19, dined on steamed dumplings, edamame, crispy green beans, lo mein and the Buddha’s Feast.

“Justin paid the bill,” the insider said, adding, “They both looked really happy.”

Jelena just returned from Mexico, where they went for a romantic weekend escape. Today was busy for Justin, as he started recording his next album, Believe, as well.

Justin Bieber will stick to clean lyrics after 18th birthday

Justin Bieber has vowed not to sing about partying and boozing after turning 18 – because he wants to write “clean lyrics” like his idol Michael Jackson.

The singer, who will turn 18 on March 1, promises not to use swear words or sing about alcohol as he transitions into adulthood, although he’s considering writing songs about “making love.”

The pop star admits he models his clean-cut persona on the King of Pop and hopes to emulate Jackson’s popularity with both young and old alike.

He tells V magazine, “I’m not going to try to conform to what people want me to be or go out there and start partying, have people see me with alcohol… I’m never going to make myself so the kids and the parents don’t respect me… I want to be able to do what Michael did – he always sang clean lyrics – and it was always that little kids loved Michael and grandparents loved Michael.

“I don’t want to start singing about things like sex, drugs, and swearing. I’m into love, and maybe I’ll get more into making love when I’m older. But I want to be someone who is respected by everybody.”

JB remains confident he’ll avoid hitting the headlines like Jackson did, because he had a happy upbringing and supportive parents.

He adds, “Michael had a really bad childhood. I was blessed with a great childhood. My mom loved me. My dad loved me. I’m now a teenager and I don’t feel like I’ve missed out on anything in my life. I’ve gotten to experience everything I possibly could.

“I don’t look back and think, ‘Ugh, I wish I would have been able to do that.’ Maybe (Jackson) missed out on a lot, so he tried to (re-live) his childhood when he was older. But I’ve got such good people around me, I’m not worried.”

Justin Bieber’s Bizarre Beach Disguise

Justin Bieber went to Venice Beach, Calif. with his dad and BFF wearing a weird gold face mask. If it weren’t for his Jesus tattoo, we might not have recognized him!

All the tourists and surfers hanging out on Venice Beach in Calif. last Friday, Jan. 6 probably didn’t think anything of the random teenager walking around with a gold mask, especially because street performers are a dime a dozen there. However, the stranger in the mask was actually the one and onlyJustin Bieber!

Before heading down to Cabo with his girlfriend, Selena Gomez, the 17-year-old pop star spent time on the beach with his best friend, Ryan Butler, and his dad, Jeremy. Apparently he wanted to go unnoticed, so he threw on a creepy Cirque de Soleil-style mask and no one bugged him! Genius!

It seems as though Justin took a cue from his idol, Michael Jackson, who used to make his kids wear masks in public. Good thinking, Justin.

He went down to the beach to catch a few rays with pops Jeremy Bieber and a friend but, alas, as luck would have it the pop star wound up spending more time with fans. Fans in bikinis.

Naturally Justin is accustomed to the attention and pictures suggest he had no trouble leaving his Pa and friend to hang out with the girls for awhile, obilging them by taking photos and even giving out hugs. Selena Gomez was not there but the papparazzi were and snapped the photos of the group of girls and their surprise, and welcome, interloper.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have an anniversary coming up. January 3 will mark the one year anniversary of the day the world's most famous couple became a couple. 

Actually, they may have been a couple for a long time prior to that date, and they didn't officially present themselves to the world as a couple until one month later at the Vanity Fair Oscar After Party. 


Nevertheless, it was on January 3, 2011 that the world first beheld those infamous "Caribbean kissing photos" which proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that Selena and the Biebs were dating.

All around the globe, millions of teen and tween girls' hearts went "Crack!"

Of course, even in that dark hour, many beliebers refused to give in to despair. After all, love is as changeable as the weather--especially when the lovers are a couple of teenage celebrities. How long could Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber's adolescent affaire du coeur last? One of them was bound to kick the other to the curb soon--probably within a couple of months. Or not. As the first year anniversary of their relationship draws nigh, they're still "crazy in love." 

Despite the "Death to Selena Gomez" Internet hate campaign, the Mariah Yeater paternity suit lunacy, and even the mild disapproval of their parents who feared they were moving too far too fast, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are still steady as they go. And yes, miraculously enough, the stars did not collapse; the Universe has not imploded, and the world still spins around. Ain't love grand?

Dealership, pop star aim to help skate park

An improved skateboard park is no pipe dream thanks to a hot set of wheels.

Justin Bieber has teamed up with Frank Sandola, dealer principal at Stratford Hyundai, to raise money to refurbish the skatepark on Downie Street.

Bieber popped into the local dealership and signed a 2012 red Genesis Turbo Coupe which will be auctioned off on eBay next month.

Sandola sold Bieber's grandmother Diane Dale a car a while back and that's how it all got started.

He said:

"After getting to know Diane I was trying to figure out a way to help the city and involve Justin. I approached Diane about it,". 

Word went through the proper channels and Sandola was told Bieber agreed to sign the car for a cause. Sandola let Bieber decide exactly where the money should go and he chose the skate park.

"He wants to give the kids somewhere to go and do their thing," Sandola said.

All proceeds from the $40,000 car will go to the skate park, Sandola said.

Bieber signed the driver's side sun visor, the accompanying paperwork which includes the vehicle identification number (VIN), the passenger's side dashboard and added music notes and wrote a note on the brochure for the car: "Congrats. Looks like you're the lucky winner. Justin Bieber." All of that will go with the car as well as pictures of Bieber signing the car and other items.

The car is currently in the showroom of the dealership. Sandola is considering accepting donations from fans who want to have pictures taken with the car. The proceeds will still go to the skatepark.

He is used to getting stared at by by teenage fans who fantasise about being his girlfriend.

But Justin Bieber looked like he was doing a little fantasising of his own when he was caught staring at a pretty young cheerleader at a basketball match.

The 17-year-old star certainly seemed to be enjoying the routine as he got ready to cheer on the Toronto Raptors at the Air Canada Centre.

Justin Bieber stages a private concert at Las Vegas elementary school

Teen pop icon Justin Bieber performed at a private Christmas concert Friday for a Las Vegas elementary school known for providing needy students’ families with food, clothes, money for utility bills — and just about everything in between.

The 17-year-old star’s concert, featuring songs from his holiday album “Under the Mistletoe,” came along with a $100,000 donation to Whitney Elementary School, which has garnered publicity for providing needy students’ families with food, clothes, money for utility bills — and just about everything in between.

It was clear Friday that the mid-December chill wasn’t cooling down Bieber fever. Second-grader A’mya Saulsberry and third-grader Mia Godinez were wearing glittery hair bows and T-shirts emblazoned with teen pop icon’s face as they walked with their grandma to school.

“When he noticed how kind we were and how gentle we were, he wanted to come,” Godinez explained, as a Justin ballad fit for a sixth-grade slow dance piped from campus loudspeakers.

After Justin announced on a Nov. 1 episode of “The Ellen Degeneres Show” that he would visit to perform songs from his album “Under the Mistletoe,” the hundreds of students watching the taping from their Las Vegas school erupted into screams and cheers, and even tears of joy.

“For the kids, it shows that someone loves them and cares about them to follow up,” principal Sherrie Gahn told the Las Vegas Sun after the taping. “When you live in an existence where everything seems so hopeless, it’s an amazing gift they will never forget. It’s beyond their wildest dreams.”

Whitney Elementary was first featured on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in September. The episode highlighted how the school provides a food pantry, clothes closet, free haircuts and literacy training for students’ families.

Gahn said more than 85 percent of the school’s 600-plus students receive free or reduced lunches. The school also has one of the highest homeless student populations in Nevada’s Clark County School District.

Gahn told “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” she made a pact with families after she arrived about eight years ago. “I’ll pay your electrical bill, your utilities, I’ll give you food or clothes, whatever you need, as long as you give me your child and then help raise that child as a person of character,” she said.

Families at the school told the show Gahn has stayed true to her promise. Gahn said most of the donations come from individuals or businesses, and she said the show has brought an outpouring of support. Justin’s gift matches a $100,000 donation from Target that was announced on the September episode.

“My biggest motivator for the kids and the thought and hope that they don’t have to live in this existence when they grow up — that they break the cycle,” Gahn said.

'X Factor' Finale: Drew Ryniewicz to Duet With Justin Bieber, Stevie Wonder

X Factor fan favorite Drew Ryniewiczwill see her dream come true next week when she performs on the show’s finale with her idol Justin Bieber. On the set list: two songs from his Under the Mistletoe album, which was just certified platinum marking sales of more than 1 million copies, reported to be “The Christmas Song” and “Santa Claus is Coming to Town.” The performance was taped on Dec. 14 following the broadcast. 

Stevie Wonder will also accompany the two, sources reveal to THR. On Saturday night, Bieber, along with Drake and Michael McDonald, is scheduled to appear at L.A.’s Nokia Theater for the 16th Annual Stevie Wonder House Full of Toys benefit concert.

Viewers may recall that 14-year-old Arizona native Drew auditioned for X Factor with her own unique spin on Bieber’s hit “Baby.” The performance was good enough to get her through to bootcamp.

Although she made it as far as week 6, Drew, who dropped her last name halfway through the competition, was sent home after failing to impress with “Listen to Your Heart,” a 'save me' performance even she said “sucked.” Her elimination resulted in Twitter wars and death threats aimed at judges Paula Abduland Nicole Scherzinger, who voted to send Drew home.

While traumatic for all, Drew felt a lot better the next morning when her favorite pop star tweeted a message of support her way and joined her ever-growing legion of followers (134,000 and counting). Bieber’s words: “keep yr head up. I lost my 1st competition too. this is just the beginning. never say never.”

Indeed, for Drew, never seems to be now.

The finale airs live from the X Factor studio on Dec. 21 and 22 on Fox.

Selena Gomez 'To Propose To Justin Bieber'

She apparently wants to show JB that she's with him for the long haul...

Just when we thought we had heard all of the ridiculous Justin Bieber and Selena Gomezrumours, the National Enquirer is claiming 19-year old Selena is planning to propose to JB this Christmas.

According to the US website, the Hit The Lights singer wants to make Biebs feel more secure about their relationship, following Mariah Yeater's claims that he fathered her son, Tristyn.

The supposed source, thought to be close to Gomez, revealed: "Selena is crazy about Justin, and she hates seeing him so upset over the paternity allegations."

"He's been on edge thinking Selena might leave him, so she wants to get him a ring to show that she's with him for the long haul. Even Justin's mom Pattie is in on the secret."

Following the baby accusations, Bieber has apparently been talking about starting a familywith Gomez, with the insider revealing: "Pattie thinks Justin is talking about having kids partly because he's afraid of losing Selena."

"But if Selena proposes, Pattie thinks Justin will feel more secure, and she'll be able to talk them into putting off a wedding and kids."

Hmmm, we don't think we will have to buy a hat for their wedding just yet! Meanwhile in other Selieber news, the cute couple were spotted enjoying a steak dinner in Washington last weekend, where onlookers claimed they looked very happy together.
