Justin Bieber Singing Toothbrush

Come on now, I am quite sure that some of you might think this $9.92 Justin Bieber Singing Toothbrush deserves a place on our sister site Foolish Gadgets instead, but here’s the deal. As a parent, how many of you out there have trouble getting your little one to brush his or her teeth? Even if you have the cutest looking toothbrush with the fruitiest flavored toothpaste, the little ‘un still refuses to get those molars and canines cleaned out before bed. I am quite sure that Justin Bieber’s appeal spreads to those pre-teens, too, and with the Justin Bieber Singing Toothbrush, your mission is accomplished.
Featuring soft DuPont bristles, an ergonomic design that cleans plaque in hard to reach places, a soft rubber coating that delivers a comfortable brushing experience, and it is good to go. As an added incentive, pressing a button on this toothbrush will play a Justin Bieber song for 2 minutes – which is the same amout of time that dentists recommend to brush your teeth. A trio of LR44 batteries will power this puppy, and the only drawback is, your ears will be treated (or tortured, depending on which side of the fence you are on) to “U Smile” and “Baby” songs from the Canadian crooner.

When contemplating career, Justin Bieber never says ‘over’

According to someone very close to Justin Bieber, the teen superstar is obsessed with remaining relevant to his fans — and doesn’t want to “have a short-lived career like Hanson” or other once sizzling-hot young entertainers who now show up on “Whatever Happened To?” lists.
“Justin is so very savvy about his fame and the media, and he also ‘gets’ that whole concept of people being targeted [by the press] when they’re on top.”
As the Bieber buddy put it, “Justin knows how everyone loves a hot newcomer … and then can so quickly turn fickle and begin to dig up stuff to tear them down.”
The source used the accusation of Bieber allegedly fathering a baby last year as just one example of how the 17-year-old singer sees the negative aspects of the fame game.

“Justin is a serious musician. He knows how to keep his cool. He understands how hard it is to remain relevant. … He wants to become what he calls a ‘forever star,’ like aMadonna or a Stevie Wonder or a Sinatra or Tony Bennett. He does have this thing about wanting to be eternally loved by his fans.”
† As for that tattoo of Jesus Christ’s face Bieber recently had inked on his calf, the singer told V magazine it was his way of constantly being reminded of his faith, since he doesn’t feel he needs to regularly attend church in order to be in touch with his beliefs.

Justin Bieber Invests in Sojo Studios’ Social Gaming for Good

Justin Bieber has invested in social game company Sojo Studios, a company that embeds charitable giving into its games. The young superstar today announced his involvement the same way he launched his career, by using Facebook and Twitter to connect directly with his fans.
Justin and  Ellen DeGeneres will use their entertainment industry status to support WeTopia, Sojo’s first title, as well as future games.
Justin posted the following to his Facebook page at 12:46 p.m. PST: “a fan first showed me this and now I am Proud to be a part of WeTopia. When you play, you help kids in the REAL WORLD. Let’s all play this game and really MAKE A CHANGE. thanks”
Within two hours, that update had received nearly 18,000 “likes” and hundreds of “shares.” He also tweeted the information to his 15.6 million followers, making all but one of them jealous by later giving a shout-out to @MiKSHiNE as the fan who introduced him to WeTopia.
Players build a WeTopia village, which rewards beneficial behavior like helping neighbors by adding the in-game virtual currency known as Joy to their accounts. It’s free to play, although the option is available to purchase Joy using Facebook credits. Gamers can then choose actual, non-virtual projects that will receive their Joy, in return for which they get pictures, videos and in-game messages to track their contributions. Initial nonprofit partners include Save the Children, buildOn and Children’s Health Fund.

Justin Said:

“Playing online games can be a lot of fun, and WeTopia makes it even better by helping children around the world, whether they need a school, or vaccinations, or clean water,”
“I’ve always been passionate about giving back, and I hope my fans will feel the same way when they play WeTopia.”
This is hardly the first time he has leveraged his popularity to aid others. Earlier this year Bieber announced the Believe Charity Drive, which receives a portion of the North American proceeds from sales of his currentUnder The Mistletoe album. He also worked with interactive firm AgencyNet and online fundraising platform StayClassy to create a section of his site where fans can make direct contributions to seven of his chosen charities: Pencils of Promise;Project Medishare for Haiti;City of Hope;Make-A-Wish Foundation andwww.worldwish.org;Boys & Girls Clubs of America;Musicians On Call; and theGRAMMY Foundation.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Justin Bieber, an amazing entertainer and someone who has emerged as one of the most prolific young philanthropists this world has seen,” said Lincoln Brown, founder and chief executive officer of Sojo Studios. “Justin is using his voice to inspire millions of fans around the world – including daughters and their moms – to give back. We can’t think of a better way to bring the generations together than on WeTopia, which lets players do good while having fun.”
