Justin Bieber Forgets 'Jesus'

Justin Bieber was so busy and focused working on his album, "Believe," he forgot "Jesus." Before everyone faints, JB has not abandoned his religion. He just forgot his gold "Jesus" necklace and chain. He left it in the studio where it was fortunately found by Kiki Palmer and returned.

Justin Bieber has often said that his music means more to him than almost anything else in the world—with the exception of his family and presumably Selena Gomez. (Relax, beliebers, he calls you guys part of his family.) And yesterday he proved it by getting so into his music that he walked out of the studio minus one of his most cherished possessions—his Jesus necklace. As you can see in the photo here, JB seemed lost in a creative reverie jamming on the drums while working on the eagerly awaited album, "Believe." Along with the photo, Justin Tweeted:

"in the studio working on #BELIEVE."

Interestingly, he is not wearing the necklace. Why did he remove it? Was it interfering with his movements while drumming? Or did he hang it somewhere in view for inspiration? Only Justin knows for sure. He's just lucky that his friend Kiki Palmer found the necklace and returned it to him.

Oddly, beliebers who saw the tweet and photo seemed less concerned about their idol's almost-lost Jesus necklace than about Kiki Palmer's nails. They were, for some inexplicable reason, grossed out by them. In fact, the consensus was "Eeewww." Go figure.

So all's well that ends well. It would have been sad indeed if Justin Bieber had lost his necklace. However, it wouldn't have been the end of the world. JB always carries his personal relationship with Jesus in his heart. Not to mention in the tattoos on his side and his leg.

Beliebers Give Thumbs Down to Justin Bieber's Darker New Hairstyle

Justin stepped out with his new hairdo over the weekend and his fans, known as "Beliebers," were quick to comment. 

"Justin lost 80,000 followers when he cut his hair & he lost 25,000 followers when he dyed hair," one follower tweeted, with another adding "Justin Bieber gets brown hair, world war III." 

Despite the shock prompted by the change, his stalwart fans still offered him support. 

"Even if Justin Bieber dyed his hair neon green I'd still be a Belieber. Hair doesn't define a person," one wrote while another wrote, "Justin Bieber looks better with his hair darker."

Justin Bieber Knows People Hate The Idea Of Him

Justin Bieber is a good example of why speaking in absolutes is often a bad thing. For a long time, I lumped him in with other teenage pop stars and mistakenly assumed he was a prepackaged commodity, but as I’ve read more and more interviews and listened to more and more music, it’s become increasingly obvious that he’s a good dude just trying to carve out life on his own terms. That he happens to have a great voice and boyish good looks are attributes that serve him well in the music industry but are not the characteristics that define him. If you don’t believe me, check out this awesome quote he offered up in an interview withV Magazine. 

"A lot of people say they hate Justin Bieber who haven't even listened to my music. They just hate the idea of me."

You could interpret those words as a little bitter and hostile, but it’s hard to do so when they’re so fitting for the predicament he’s in. A lot of people are bothered by the fact that the Biebs is so wholesome. To be perfectly honest, it sort of rubs me the wrong way too, but not everyone who lives on the straight and narrow has a holier than thou attitude. Justin’s never really put down the choices of others. He’s just continued to do his thing, which if he has his way, will propel him to even greater heights. 

"I want to be better than anybody who's ever done it. And in order to do that, I need to strive to be the best, be good to people and treat people with respect, and work as hard as I can. Because for me, I work so hard and this consumes my life.”

Life is too short not to work as hard as possible at what you care about. For Justin, that’s not only music but doing nice things for the people around him. He recently bought his childhood friend a car and took his girlfriend Selena Gomez on the coolest date ever. I doubt he’ll someday be considered the greatest pop star in the world, but a pretty damn good musician isn’t such a bad fate.

Justin Bieber went to Venice Beach, Calif. with his dad and BFF wearing a weird gold face mask. If it weren’t for his Jesus tattoo, we might not have recognized him!

All the tourists and surfers hanging out on Venice Beach in Calif. last Friday, Jan. 6 probably didn’t think anything of the random teenager walking around with a gold mask, especially because street performers are a dime a dozen there. However, the stranger in the mask was actually the one and onlyJustin Bieber!

Before heading down to Cabo with his girlfriend, Selena Gomez, the 17-year-old pop star spent time on the beach with his best friend, Ryan Butler, and his dad, Jeremy. Apparently he wanted to go unnoticed, so he threw on a creepy Cirque de Soleil-style mask and no one bugged him! Genius!

It seems as though Justin took a cue from his idol, Michael Jackson, who used to make his kids wear masks in public. Good thinking, Justin.

Justin Bieber Gives Signed Guitar To Teen Girl Who Will Donate It To Charity

Two Canadian teen girls are paying forward Justin Bieber's charitable spirit.

After landing in front of the stage at a Bieber concert in Toronto, 14-year-old Alexx Mowbray was pulled on stage and given the pop star's signed acoustic guitar,The Beacon Herald reports.

With her sister, Kelsee Casagrande, Mowbray decided without hesitation to auction off the guitar for charity. Proceeds will go to Bieber's Believe Charity and a local food bank in Stratford, Canada.

"We never even thought of selling it and keeping the money," Mowbray told The Beacon Herald. "If it can save lives, that's more important than money. And I'll always have my memories."

Bieber, who was named Huffington Post's top celebrity activist of 2011, is known for getting others involved. He has made a "Belieber" out of thousands of his fans, urging their support to charities like Pencils of Promise and City of Hope. Employing other quirky methods to spur giving, he's auctioned off his pet snake and his bike and played in a charity basketball game.

Inspired by the singer's ability to get his message out, Casagrande and Mowbray are now using their Twitter feeds to keep people up to date on the guitar auction. They say they're still finalizing plans for donating it.

SELENA GOMEZ SUPPORTED JUSTIN BIEBER AND DREW AT ‘X FACTOR’ FINALE

So sweet! Selena Gomez was in the building to support her beau, Justin Bieber at his ‘X Factor‘ finale performance with Stevie Wonder and Drew Ryniewicz. Did America’s favorite Belieber get to meet Bieber’s boo?Unfortunately, not this time! Hollywood Life reports that Drew didn’t get to hang with Gomez, but that it may have been for the best — because the 14-year-old contestant may not have known how to handle it! “I didn’t meet Selena, I heard she was in the building while I was singing with Justin,” Drew told Hollywood Life about the Dec. 14th pre-taped performance. “I was like, ‘Awkward!’”


However, Drew said that the Biebs himself offered insight on her career and couldn’t have been nicer. “He gave me quite a bit of advice, he told me that I might not be the winner of the show that doesn’t mean I am not a winner,” she gushed. “He said that I would be going far and he was rooting for me! He saw my performances and he said I was beautiful,” Drew said. What a charmer!


Drew also admitted that she milked her performance for every minute, saying she even flubbed her lyrics just to spend more time with her idol. “Hmm, what’s the word … ‘Santa Claus is coming to Earth?’ Nope sorry, messed it up again. Let’s do it again! We need to do the hugging part again!”


While we’re pretty sure Ms. Gomez doesn’t have anything to worry about, we’ve got to hand it to Drew. The girl’s got game!

Justin Bieber, Maple Leafs make an 8-year-old's dream come true

Eight-year-old Jake Schafer’s day in Toronto began with a trip to SickKids for a round of chemotherapy, part of a routine to fight the cancer that is quickly spreading through his frail body.

Hours later, he was skating with Justin Bieber and half a dozen Maple Leafs at the Air Canada Centre, curly blonde locks poking out of his helmet as he took shots on Jonas Gustavasson.

“I was getting my equipment on and Justin Bieber came in when I was about to go out on the ice,” Jake said from a hospital bed on Thursday, where he was having another round of treatment.

“He just asked if he could come and skate and I said yes. He got his stick and went and taped it and then he put his skates.”

The outing was arranged by the Children’s Wish Foundation after Jake, who was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma last year, said his dream was to hang out with the Biebs.

Jake was too shy to say much to the pop star, but said he was pleased when Bieber handed him VIP tickets to his Wednesday night show at Massey Hall. Mistletoe is his favourite song.

After Jake appeared onstage at the show — as Bieber presented a giant cardboard check in the amount of $500,000 to the Children’s Wish Foundation, Sunnybrook Hospital and Project Medishare — he unwittingly became the centre of attention.

“All the teenage girls were asking me all these questions,” Jake said. “Is he nice and all that?”

Catherine Schafer, Jake’s mother, said her little boy was tired after the long day of fun, but in good spirits.

“He’s doing okay, but the cancer’s continuing to spread. So this was perfect timing,” said Schafer, who blogs about her son’s fight with cancer at jakesteam.ca.

According to The James Fund for Neuroblastoma Research, neuroblastoma is the fifth most common cancer in childhood, but it is responsible for a disproportionate number of cancer deaths in children.

Backstage before show, Bieber also surprised 10-year-old Jalissa MacLellan and 16-year-old Harvey Stephen — who are also fighting life-threatening illnesses — stopping in to say hello and give them each an autographed guitar.

“They were told that they were getting a Justin Bieber VIP experience, but we didn’t really let on that they’d be able to meet him,” said Paul St. Germain, spokesman for the Children’s Wish Foundation. “We wanted to make it a surprise for them when Justin walked in. And it was.”

The taped Christmas TV special Justin Bieber: Home for the Holidays premiered on MuchMusic and CTV on Thursday night.

Behold the power of Biebs.

When Beliebers Katie, 15 and Penny, 17, came to ITV as part of their studio audience for a Justin Bieber performance, they were elated — and then crushed. The producers told them their tickets were gone and that they had to leave. The girls were visibly distraught, sitting on a couch in a studio room sulking … But not for long.

“These are two tickets I’m about to give to this girl,” Justin said, grinning at the camera, “but she doesn’t know.”

Justin Bieber proceeded into the girls’ room, setting off a barrage of squeals, before backing out quickly and mumbling, “Sorry, wrong room!” The girls were thrilled nonetheless — but especially so when Justin returned, grinning, “I’m just kidding!”

Justin handed the girls their passes and gave them hugs — and likely damaged his own hearing in the process. “Aw, don’t cry!” he smiled. Katie began bawling anyway, making for both a sweet and semi-awkward moment for the star. “We didn’t think we were going to get in!” Penny shrieked.

Justin assured, “Of course you’re gonna get in! You guys get to go to a concert and you get to hang out,” he said lightly, perching on the couch next to Katie. “How you guys doin’?” Katie’s answer was in the form of her wailing in elation that she’s going to die. “Don’t die!” He laughed.

The girls couldn’t contain themselves, and from the look on Justin’s face, he’s simultaneously amused and used to it. After a bit more banter with the girls, it’s time for Justin to book it out of there. “Thank you so much for coming,” he says earnestly as Katie continues to bawl and Penny is too excited to muster many words. He hugs the girls and says, “Have a good time at the show. Scream loud, okay?” He makes a subdued and graceful exit, leaving the girls to sit, holding one another and shaking uncontrollably.

We're looking at our generation's next Justin Timberlake here, a singer who can step across genres, on to the big screen, really succeed anywhere across the entertainment spectrum. The guy is seriously talented.

Justin concluded an incredible year by releasing a Christmas album that shot to number-one on the charts, to no one's surprise. He made the media round in promotion, dazzling David Letterman and singing live for Today Show viewers. You name the medium and Justin Bieber has controlled it over the past few months.

So congratulations on your number-five ranking, JB. We have a feeling you'll be a mainstay on this countdown for many years to come.

Justin, 17, got interviewed on KYDZ Radio Las Vegas by pint-sized DJ Jillian when she suddenly pulled out some mistletoe, totally putting the singer on the spot! Luckily, Justin gladly took a peck on the cheek from this adorable fan — it’s too cute.
